Welcome back to another show.  You may have noticed that we did not have a song to start our show this week.  The reason is that we are going back into our bible study of the book of Psalms.  We took a two week break to bring you information about the Godly foundation of our nation and the people who put our constitution to paper.  We are blessed in putting out these shows and how GOD leads us.  To take all of this teachers extensive bible study classes takes 7 years!  We are using his one year bible study at this time and it appears a new class may have joined this study of Psalms at the school.  Better have your pencil and paper handy.  There is going to be some study information he has shared before.  Things like how to read, pray, and study the book of Psalms.  This was a very long lecture and we did our best to edit out things like the students breaking up into groups and their comments that we could not hear very well on the CD"s that we have.  We apologize up front for any bad edits that confuse the topic.  Even with the edits this is one of the longest shows we have presented in our bible study.  Because of this, we are not going to open up the microphones for everybody to make comments or ask questions at the end of the show.  Only Sis Bobbie Lively AKA Lyrical lively will be asked to share any insights that she may have.

Welcome to another show. We had such a large response to our show last week regarding the foundation of our nation.  We are going to expand this thought one more show before getting back to our bible study in the book of Psalms.  You may hear some things you heard in our previous show. We are still listening to David Barton who was the speaker on last weeks show. The changes in what we see in Washington speak volumes of who we have become in our nation today.  We should not put total blame on changes in our poitical leadership that have turned from our foundational truths based on Godly principals.  We should also look at the many church denominations that have gone away from their own foundations of being holy and a seperate people as GOD told us. I have friends who speak with a tone of disapproval to what they call the old fundimental christians. How can we look at the fundimental concepts as being a bad thing?  What does the dictionary tell us fundimental means: "serving as a basis supporting existence or determining essential structure or function,"  This does not sound like a bad thing! What scares us more then anything else is people that know all of the church sayings and scriptures. Yet, they have a lack of understanding.  Wild Bill says it reminds him of a parrot that can mimic and repeat things.  We all know that these birds have no personal knowledge or understanding.  Why has so many churches gone away from what used to be a basic undeerstanding of the bible of being born again of the water and the spirit?  Check yourself and see if you are being a parrot and repeating things with no real relationship. As people of faith we can work to help our country go back to our foundational strenghts. This cannot be done without GOD being first in our life.

Welcome back to another show. We are in the book of Psalms in our one year bible study.  With the celebration of our Independance Day on July 4th.  Wild Bill decided that in the study of the bible.  We need to see how the heritage of our country and the bible are of the same building blocks.  People have decided to edit our history to control the thoughts and hearts of us as a people.  The higher school system in this country is a big part of trying to edit GOD out of our heritage. The best way to take something down is to destroy the foundation!  They may try to edit GOD out of your mind but GOD will not be edited. Look at what happened to people who tried to do this in history.  So we wanted to take tonight to try to bring people back to the real word.  To do this exposes the great lie of our leaders and educational system today.  For example the statement that our founding fathers wanted seperation of church and state. They did not want GOD to be a part of our foudation and that was the reason for the seperation of church and state.  The worst part is the people of faith that in trying to get educated and in finding their own identity.  They bring these lies back to their church and edit history to try to enlighten our weak minded church family.  As always we hope that you share this with your friends.  This can be downloaded to any smart device for free.  We appreciate your comments or questions at the end of this show.  Just push the number 1 on your phone and we will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when we place you on the air. Welcome back to our one year bible study. Tonight the teacher is still in the book of Psalms. In this lesson he shares some music that does not really speak to Wild Bill. So he took a song from Blogtalk Mom's collection to start this show.  You do not know how close Wild Bill came to deleting the song played to share an example of singing from the Psalms.  But this show is called, "Your Place", and some of you may like that kind of music. There are some great study points in this lesson but we have been bombed with so many powerful things in past lessons that Wild Bill was a little disappointed.  He then had to remind himself that this is this teachers short version of these books of the bible as he is teaching this as a one year bible study.  This teacher has detailed teaching on all of the books of the bible and we have shared many of them with you in the past. You may not agree with everything this teacher has to say.  With that said he will get you to thinking outside of the box as you go through the bible on your own.  For sure this teacher has read a lot of historical writings, and has been to all of these areas enough to bring many new insights that you may have missed in just reading the bible. Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place". As you listened to the song to start our show. It brings up the question of do you love GOD and HIS word as much as you should?  Because if you do you would enjoy every moment that you can study HIS word, read HIS word, and live HIS word!  Because if there is not a love relationship there you can forget hearing HIS voice, and being led by the Holy Ghost to move up higher.  Wild Bill wants you to do a couple of things right now.  First, get you something to take notes.  You are going to need it.  Second, do not be guilty of hearing something that goes against your thought pattern and shutting down your mind.  If you do that tonight you are throwing out the baby with the bath water.  There are some really big nuggets to be gained in tonights lesson.  We just finished Job, and went through some interesting emotions and thoughts during that lesson.  Tonight you will get a very interesting introduction of the book of Psalms.  We did not agree with everything this teacher said or his choice of bible translations but there is nothing to keep you from going back and comparing what you hear with the King James on your own.  This teacher is not a preacher or church preacher.  He teaches the bible as a school course.  With that said, Wild Bill will tell you that he has never heard a teacher that has so much insight into the geography, the people, and the time line that this teacher brings to these lessons.  But do not take our word for it.  We would love to hear your comments or questions at the end of tonights lesson.  We promise that he will leave you wanting more tonight.

Welcome to, "Your Place".  We record the show to a digital audio program, and then have to cut it into segments that the blog page will accept.  Two weeks ago we gave the first half of the book of Job where this teacher put this into a play format of what was happening with the people involved.  Blog Talk Mom, Wild Bill and myself found ourself all feeling a powerful annointing in the presentation.  Each week after it plays, Bill goes to the show page and deletes all of the show links, and deletes these digital saved segments from the music files on his computer. Bill will then record the next scheduled show as saved music files.  These are then uploaded to the show page.  So why mention this in such detail.  Because the impossible happened and the deleted show links played again last week.  We are still trying to understand why GOD wanted this to happen.  We even save the show links with the same name each week to make them easy to find and play. Each one has the number in the title to show the order they are to be played.  You know how a computer will notify you if you are trying to save a file with the same name that it already has saved.  This did not happen! We all know that GOD works in the impossible.  How can there be so much feeling the first time and so little the second?  That is the lesson within the lesson!  Same exact show, with such a different impact! Still processing that one.  Tonight the second half of the book of Job is set up to play again.  In fact the links were still set up in the music files from last week.  Blows the mind!  Tonight the study starts with Job's friends after the first 7 days they spent with him.  What is your time limit when you shift from friend to trying to fix the situation using our experiance, traditions, and religion? That is what each of his friends represented in their insights to the situation.

Welcome to the second half of the book of Job. Last week our teacher opened this as a play.  Wild Bill finds at times this teacher says things that come against his sensibilities. But has learned it is not wise to be closed minded.  Bill will tell you that he has found himself in his life trying to be all of the parts of this human drama.  To include even GOD's part based on personal thought! Test yourself tonight if you dare. The Bible tells us, "If we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful for HE cannot deny himself.”  Can we be honest to who we are?  Bible tells us that every man sees himself as being right in his own mind.  Are we not to reflect Jesus instead of ourself.  Want an identity truth? All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD! Have you ever tried to establish your identity based on the gifts, and callings of GOD in your life. Have you judged others based on the lack of these?  Do you measure your worth based on things done for others that have less?  Do you lever look back in your past with a score card of all of the good you have done?  Do we forget that this walk is forward and to strive for the mark?  Do you remember that he who puts his hands to the plow and looks back is not worthy of the kingdom?   How many want to continue doing the same work instead of growing into new works as lead by GOD?  We do many things based on our comfort zone and trying to stay there. There are some foundational truths we need to remember.  GOD's ways are much higher then our ways. Are we not to deny ourselves instead of trying to establish a personel idenity anyway.  Have you read that we are to deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Jesus. Do we live for our glory or HIS? Remember that all things work for our Good according to his purpose. We will see that Job learned more about his GOD! What about us?

Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  You can probably tell from the song that started our show that we are now at the book of Job.  Like most of you.  We have looked at this man who lived upright before the Lord and struggled to come up with an understanding.  Wild Bill likes to get you to think outside of the box.  This teacher on this topic does not fail to paint a picture of all of the players involved in what we read of Job. I warn you now this lesson will go by very fast tonight and leave you wanting the lesson not to stop where it does.  This teacher is an academic who has studied the bible, and other writings from that time to get a grasp of the style of writing from that time.  Many people just over look this in their study of the bible.  We have to mention that this teacher has had approx 35 years of study before this one year bible study was put together. He has been to the locations that scriptures is trying to describe for us to understand.  You cannot believe how a little insight to the geography can change your outlook to scripture.  We do not agree with everything this teacher comes up with on spiritual things.  But you cannot deny his study of time lines, geography, and historical context that many church teachers and preachers leave out.  Bill believes that in this study if you add it to what you have been taught at church.  This will give you clarification of the bible more then anything else he has found.  As always take the time to share this bible study with your friends.  You can go to the archives of our show.  All of our past shows is in our archives and can be listened to or downloaded to any smart device for free.  If you have any questions or comments.  You are welcome to push the number 1 on your phone and you will be identified by the last four digits of your phone number before we place you on the air.

Welcome to, "Your Place".  Yesterday was Memorial Day,  We have been doing shows in the past on our goverment, wars, past memorial day speeches, and of late addressing PTSD.  We love our military!  Did you know that this Holiday was established to remember those that gave their life for the freedoms that we all enjoy? Did you know that we lost 116,516 military in ww1, 405,399 in WW2, 36,574 in Korea, 58,220 in Vietnam, 383 in Gulf war, and the numbers are a bit murky when looking at other conflicts in the middle east.  From our research as of yesterday  the number stands at 6,997 US troops that have died in these battles in the middle east. For sure the price of our freedom is not free.  We are going to have a guest speaker hopefully next week speaking to reaching out to our military troops.  This is an group that needs to be reached to show our appreciation for their sacrifice to serve. Our Bible study tonight has a few battles in it as we continue to follow up last week where a King sought to have a wife of rare beauty and how God was working in this process. Tonight we get more of the story.

Welcome to another show tonight.  We had promised a guest speaker for tonight. As we all know when you are involved in ministry that things come up beyond your control.  This happened with our scheduled guest speaker but they will be back with us at another date. Tonight we are going to continue with our bible study. I pray that this has been the blessing for all of you as it has for us.  For sure this teacher paints a picture outside of the box of normal church teaching.  But he has a wealth of information of showing us the time line, the other history recorded of events that hi-lites the bible being the true inspired word of GOD, and brings his personal knowledge of the geography to the scriptures being studied.  Sometimes his choice of words attacks our sensibilities of how we have looked at the people involved and the reasoning for the events that are taking place.  We have allowed others and even at time share how we do not totally agree with this school professor that is teaching this as a course of study.  With that being said, I cannot wait to hear what he has for us tonight. We understand that many of you have to listen to these shows from our archives as your time is very limited.  We just want to let you know we appreciate you listening and sharing this our shows with others.
