Welcome to our show this week as we continue with our one year bible study. We have been hearing about the major prophets and tonight we go into the book of Daniel.  Wild Bill hopes that you have been enjoying this bible study as much as he has. As we look at the time lines and we see how the prophets had a work to do in their life time.  They also are giving us a image of things to come after them!  It is so easy to read scripture and miss what it is that GOD is trying to speak to his people. Funny how we call ourselves GOD's people for blessings but not so much for accountability.  We sometimes judge these people and not apply the same principals of GOD to ourselves.  We have an advantage over those people because we have the bible, and have seen things they told of they never saw but has happened before our time.  How easy it is to not take stock that we are now GOD's chosen people.  Sounds like we need a wake up call!  As we follow these scriptures be sure ane put yourself in the space of relationship with GOD.  If they missed the mark then we could too. We share the same enemy. Jesus cast our sins as far as the east is from the west.  Satan is good at throwing fiery darts our way, and our own guilt brings things back to our mind that has already been forgiven. Why, because if he can get us stuck in that slave mentality or worse that feeling of guilt for sin that is forgiven.  This empowers satan to steal our victory, our power, and ability to praise GOD for what he has done.  At the end of this show Wild Bill added something to encourage us to see the active part of how we can walk by faith! Not by our own feelings and even not by sight. But only through the Holy Ghost having livberty in our life can we manifest these things!

Welcome to the next part of our one year bible study. The song tonight came from a live worship service.  Most songs played speak to the tipic of the show you are going to hear.  Tonight is not one of those shows.  At least we do not think so.  Wild Bill wants to warn you that you have to be able to think outside of the box more then even he can do this week.  There are a lot of pictures and insights you can gain from reading of the people in the bible.  But this week we are looking to you to help us get the big picture of what is happening.  Wild Bill will tell you that he cannot lay on one side all night long while trying to sleep in a comfortable bed. Can you imagine what it would like for GOD to tell you to lay on one side for a week, or a month! As we go through this study tonight we are hoping that we can get more insight into the need, the why, and what this will teach us about the relationship between GOD and man.  Because Wild Bill will tell you that he has missed it in every time that he has read the scriptures we are going to be hearing about tonight.  Hope this stirs up your curiosity and has you putting on your thinking caps.

Welcome back to part 55 of our one year bible study. Our song tonight came to all of you from our very own blogtalk mom! Tonight we are moving right into the book of Lamentations. This is a continuation of our looking into the life of the prophets in the time of the told testament. We hope that you continue to enjoy this bible study. We want to thanks those of you that listen from our archives but it would be refreshing to hear some of your thoughts at the end of each show live. This teacher is not teaching in a church setting and we understand this puts some of you off that live a life style different then what this teacher describes. He is also not trying to prove a church doctrine and that is one of the things Wild Bill found refreshing when he found a bunch of recorded CD's with this teacher on them at a yard sale. But we stand behind our first show premise. That it does not hurt to hear opinions even if we do not agree with them 100%. Listening to each other is a good way to grow. Welcome to our one year bible study. Tonight we are moving into the book of Jeremiah. As we are going through these lessons it is so easy to want to judge the people we are studying about. What Wild Bill has discovered time and time again. Is how easy it is to be falling into the same traps, and not see our life for what it really is. The songs that started this show tonight starting off with a young man feeling like he does not have somebody in his life to mother him. It might be because it is time for him to grow up and become a man. The main point is that we all have a mother in our life. The emotions this person is singing of has to do more about emotions then in facts. Does that sound like you at times in your life? Then we go into a song where this singer has a lot of struggle that has hit his family. The sickness in the family as well as the floods that swept through Houston, TX where they live. Here we are hearing of factual struggles instead of a feeling based on something not factual. The things this family is facing is very real and is a struggle to go through. But instead of looking for GOD to change everything to a fantasy world where everything fits our picture of the best of this world for our family. We hear of keeping faith in GOD, and we hear of having the faith in GOD that these things are happening to help make us stronger, better, and a better vessel for GOD to use. Tonight we hear of how a prophet of GOD has the people hearing how they have taken actions, and created a thought process that is not pleasing to GOD. We have all heard of not hating the player but hate the game. Here we see where people hate the messenger, and they hate the message also. Not a good place to be for sure. Remember this is not fiction, but based on real people based in time and geography. The question is what can we learn from the lesson tonight.

Bobbie Lively.  Sounds like a singing group when yo go to naming these titles of the person.  Tonight the teacher starts off the show in Isaiah 40.  This is the one year bible study that is much shorter in detail then his bible study of each book in his 7 year study of the bible.  Once again we want to remind all of you that this teacher is not teaching this in a church setting.  Because of this it is refreashing in the picture he paints of the bible, that has no thought to trying to prove a specific doctrine.  We hope that it will give you an expanded vision of the bible.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of each show. Welcome back to our bible study.  The song we played tonight came from Isaiah 43.  We are still in our bible study on the book of Isaiah.  Be sure and share our show with your friends.  You can download any of our shows for free!   In a time where it seems like you spend all of your time trying to deal with life.  It is a good reminder to stop and look at exactly who GOD is and how HE has all wisdom, and all power,  A great trick of Satan is to get us to take action without seeking GOD first and/or see our situations as to big for GOD! Worse is when we get to thinking that our life situations are to small for GOD!  Remember to think of GOD as wanting to be a friend that is closer then your brother!  As the king in our study tonigh learned the hard way.  He really needed to seek GOD's will and submit to that. Instead he was only thinking with his own thought process, and looked for GOD to fix his situation after he made a mess of things.  This is just another example in the bible of accountability for actions because GOD loves you. In fact GOD tells us that he gives us the five finger boogie on our back sides...because HE loves us.

Welcome to another bible study lesson this tonight!  Wild Bill wonders if the church of today really understands what GOD is expecting  A friend came up with a slogan for a youth group called, "Beyond these four walls".  Is that not what the church is really called to be.  I know the church body has to be prepared to birth the lost into the family of GOD.  Sometimes it seems that we get stuck in the rut of trying to keep the people saved that have already been birthed into the kingdom of GOD.  Church politics, judgmental attitudes from people who do little but have an opinion on what others are doing and people not wanting to deal with the issues of sinners coming from all walks of life in their sterile church settings. Maybe you think Bill is being a little harsh.  What does the bible say on this subject?  “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.”   Matthew 23:27. Hope that does not fit your church! Tonight we move into the book of Isaiah. Bill was listening to this teacher paint his picture of what is happening to GOD's people and got to wondering as we judge them.  Are we not in many ways doing the same?  Thus the song that started the show tonight was a continuation of that thought.  We promise you a real treat if  you have not heard this teacher before.  We promise you will be inspired in a differant way then you would be in hearing this in a church setting.  As a;lways your comments or questions to this topic at the end of the show would be welcome.  Just push the number 1 on your phone and you will be identified by the last four digits of your phone number when we place you on the air.

Welcome! We have been following a short version of a teachers study of the bible.  He did this to teach the entire bible in a school setting as a one year course.He has shared that his detailed bible study takes 7 years to go through! As we have mentioned before.  This teacher has the ability to paint a picture of what he is teaching. We are not sure if it is his teaching style, his wealth of knowledge from reading many other writings of the time and/or his having been to the locations you are reading about in the bible. For Bill it is like a breath of fresh air.  With that being said we do not always agree with some of the things that he teaches. Wild Bill will tell you that this teacher challanges him to go back into the bible on his own.  He will tell you that he has realized.  Many times we put some of the people in the bible in a non-realistic lifestyle.  We do not like to think of these people as having character flaws, to react emotionaly instead of spiritually, and even at times throw a hissy fit. In doing this we do a dis-service to ourselves.  Because it sets things up to make you wonder why you have your own emotional flaws that will show up without warning. This week we are going into the prophets of the bible. Think you are the only person that has ended up emotionaly wrecked in dealing with people?  These men show us that life is the same for them in this study.  As always you can make a comment or ask a question at the end of the show. Welcome to another show tonight. The songs to start the show was put together by Wild Bill to show that he remembered our anniversary is coming up in a couple of days. He took advantage of the fact that our teacher is now moving into the book of Ecclesiastes and the Song of Solomon. As we are hearing from the heart of Solomon in the lesson. Wild Bill had to take advantage and share to all in song of his passion for me. We want to remind everybody that this teacher is teaching the bible in a college setting and not a church setting. Just reading the Song of Solomon in mixed company can cause some people to be a little bit uncomfortable. So with a teacher who is very good at painting a picture of what he is teaching. This might do the same to some. With that said, he goes back to a thought that he had in our lessons in Samuel regarding how he felt Solomon had a secret love that he never acted upon. It is an interesting hypotheses to think on. As we have said many times we do not always agree with everything this teacher has to share but he does get you to think about the bible in a very refreshing way.
