Welcome to another show where we are going through the word of GOD! Last week we finished the book of Exodus.  Wild Bill will tell you that once again this teacher brought things to light in a way to paint a picture of the study as no other teacher you may have heard.  This is not a church study but a classroom study based on the bible being based in time, geography and being the word of GOD!  You had better have something to take notes tonight.  We think that this teacher may not have clear understanding of the gifts of the spirit but we dont know this for sure.  His examples of callings to ministry as a greater responsibility is so true!  But the scriptures used tonight on spiritual gifts Bill feels goes beyond that example.  The starting song was on the blood of Jesus.  Never forget that the old testiment tabernacle plan was a type and shadow of what was to come to us through Jesus.  Jesus, the lamb slain for the sin of this world.  I do not ever want to take for granted how honorable GOD is in staying to the pattern that was laid out while he was framing the world.  I dont ever want to forget that price that was paid for my salvation. Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  We are still in the book of Exodus and will find again how the people of GOD will do something stupid.  I too find myself many times having to take a test more then one time before I get it right.  So I am not so quick to judge these people as I was when I first read these scriptures.  You will find in this show tonight that our God of love has the emotion of anger towards his people.  Why do we think it should be any different for us if we do not obey?  You will also see how one of the leaders (Moses) over reacted by destroying what God had provided for himself.  God allows Moses to have to make the new tablets with the law on them.  It always works best to allow God to do his complete work and stand firm to what God has intented.  Other wise you may be doing some work with a hammer and chisel to put God/s words down again.  Have you ever seen God deliver someone from an addictive habit.  Then the people pick it back up and it is not so easy the second time to lay these habits down.  There is a lesson here for all of us to really pay attention too.   The song to start our show tonight was an original from Lyrical Lively, aka Rapping Granny! Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place". So far we have started with creation and came all the way down to Moses and the jews coming out of captivity from Egypt.  Tonight we hear how God can provide food and water in the wilderness.  How the people are to obey God in how they gaither their food.  The opening song was a funny way to look at the food they had to eat during that time. Also during this lesson we take a look at what most of us refer to as the 10 commandments.  Can you remember what all 10 of these commandments are?  We have found it funny during past shows where we found that something that seems so easy to know...Is not as easy as it seems. Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  Wild Bill had some fun tonight with the starting song. He was looking for a version that he used to sing in church back in the 70's but could not find it.  So he took a girls group that did their version with no music, then gave us a kids version, and last a Jewish group of men called the The Maccabeats! I am sure that you can tell that the show is about Moses telling Pharoah to let God's people go! I am betting Pharoah wish he had got the message a little sooner too! Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place". The song that started our show was sent in by someone who said that one of these young ladies was related to him. He did not give his name or any other information other then the youtube link.  From the Youtube link we found that these young ladies are Katie Knopp, Lauren and Candace Self, Breanna Quinn and Kali Kennedy singing "I Am Thirsty" as part of Knopp ministries.  We posted their video on our "Your Place FB page".  Anybody else that would like to send us songs to start off our show each week is encoraged to do so.  Just share the song on our FB page or message us with the music attached.  This week we are starting the book of Exodus in our bible study that will take us all the way through the bible. This teacher is teaching this class five days a week. We started off this show tonight with a set of songs that reminded Wild Bill of his church in Beebe Arkansas when he was a teenager.  Only the Beebe music was better! Sis Vicki Scheel, and Sis Mary Hannah was so annointed as they went from chorus to chorus of songs like this during worship service. We had a couple of teenagers that could beat a tamborine like you hear in this song throught the entire song service. You had better pay attention because it was nothing for them to beat parts off it during the service.  Of course there was some other things missing here.  A wash board, the big cymbals, and Bro. Scheel beating on that big bass drum with a tamborine. The first song was actually a choir song and somehow Wild Bill was picked to sing the lead on that song.  He said that his part was probably done better on this recording! Getting back to our bible study. Tonight we are coming to the end of the book of Gensis. We hope that you have enjoyed the first book of the bible as he has brought it to us in an accelerated format in trying to do a complete study of the bible within a year.  I think what makes this work so well is the additional information that Blog talk mom brings to the show each week You may know her as Lyrical Lively or Sis. Bobbie Lively! Welcome to the show tonight.  We are moving right along with our bible study.  Thank all of you for your comments! It seems that many of you did not get the memo that this lesson plan was not taught in a church setting.  Wild Bill wants to tell you that it would not hurt you to lighten up just a little.  Your comments are mostly offended that he is not teaching a doctrine or trying to prove one.   That is not his focus in this bible study.  As many of you have noted regarding his joking around witih trying to paint a picture for us in current society trends.  You do not feel that there is any place for that kind of joking around with scripture.  We appreciate your comments on this and understand his comments on his lifestyle at times goes against some of our personal convictions on how to live.  But with that said, we are tallking about imperfect people to date in all of our lessons.  We have been glad that you had to admit that you learned something new in each of the lessons that you had listend to.  We would love to have you as a part of a live show and you are welcome to share with all of our llstenrs what you dislike and like about this teaching. Welcome to another show here @. "Your Place".  We are still following this one year Bible study that is like none we have ever heard before.  Why, because this teacher is teaching in a school format and not as a church lesson plan.  The teacher believes that the bible is based in geography and history! He speaks of many things on personal knowledge when speaking to the geopgraphy of the bible because he has been there.  This is so enlighening to the study of the bible and getting a visual picture of what is going on.  He also teaches that the bible is the inspired word of God.  Which makes his teaching unlike other school teachers we have found record of.  We have started with creation, and moved down to the promise of God to Abraham.  We learned with a new respect of what it means for GOD to be faithful even when his creation is not faithful.  For sure Abraham made wrong choices but God still gave to Abraham the promise of being the father of a blessed people that could not be numbered! Here we take a look at the continuation of the promise through his son Issac.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of each show so that you can make a comment or ask questions.

Welcome back to the show.  Last show. we heard how there was strife with the family of Abraham. Sarah, had laughed at her promise and because she had decided to make it work with her own thinking.  We heard how she was most miserable with the result. We need to remember that Abraham played a big psty in this also.  Think about how Abraham had to know the heart of his wife and the promise of GOD.  Does this not make his part of last weeks story worse.  On top of that with his previous lies he profited.  Why does God allow wrong actions to profit sometimes?  Did Abraham accpet for personal gratification or did he really think his wife was on to the plan of GOD?  All of the promise and the timing seemed unprobable but no man can claim it was not a God thing!  The starting song for this show speaks to the heart of the matter!  Ever hear happy wife happy life? When Sarah came to Abrham with her problem from their choice he put it back into her hands.  Now the ball is in his court in a very painful way!  Many times Wild Bill has wondered what he would do with God demanding the sacrifice of one of his children.  What faith in God to be willing to sacrifice your promise to obey GOD.  Think about it!  Today faced with the same test.  I would think this could not be from GOD!  Im reminded of the scripture of Jesus talking of finding faith when he returns.  Is it not sin to disobey GOD? What are you doing to find out what God desires from you?  For the most part I find myself not seeking to find out. We want to welcome you back to our bible study that is being taught by a school teacher and not in a church setting.  Because of this, his thoughts may be hard to swallow at times.  More so for people that all we know of the bible is what we hear in church.  With that said this teacher has a way to get you to thinking outside of the box even if you do not agree with him.
