Welcome back to another show here at, "Your Place".  We want to thank the group Ransomed that sent us this song that we played to start our show tonight. We understand that so many of you are very busy and possibly very stressed in getting ready for the Holidays.  I am not trying to burst your bubble. But if Jesus is really the reason for the season in your home?  Do not leave Jesus out of your planning during this time.  Living for GOD is not something that just happens by accident.  You have to have a vision with a plan of staying connected to Jesus and HIS will for your life!  No this is not going to be a show on the holiday of Christmas.  We have done that before and you can go to the archives to hear the real history of Christmas.  We aregoing to continue with our bible study.  Tonight there are so many things to look at and think about.  One clear thing we hope you will agree with is how this teacher paints a picture and brings up thoughts that you may never thought of before.  For sure he uses humor and imagination to try to do this.  Tonights show has some very key points that all people of faith need to pay a lot of attention to in regards to learning more about our GOD and his relationship with mankind.  As always we hope that you are going to our, "Your Place Face Book page and sharing the links of this bible study with all of your friends.  All of our shows are in the archives and you can download them to any smart device for free or listen to them from our blogtalk page.  We always welcome your comments or questions at the end of each show. Welcome back to anther show here at, "Your Place". Tonight we are going to look at the best story of love and respect in the bible.  Wild Bill loves how the Old Testiment creates a foundation for the new testiment.  We learn so much about GOD's love and plan of salvation in the old testiment that is made perfect in the new testiment.  We see while under the law that God is always going to expect obediance from his creation! This does not change with the new testiment covenant. Bill can tell you that the Holy Ghost does not drive you around like a remote controll car.  Instead it warns of things in our path, can pray for us, when we do not understand what we need to pray, and it gives us power to overcome obstacles in our path. Two weeks ago while working on this blog talk show.  The Holy Ghost came into the room with Wild Bill in such a mighty way that he took the time to stop and follow the leading of the Holy Ghost.  Bill started finding songs that spoke of faith.  Bill started sending these links to songs over his cell to others.  All the while rejoicing in the pressense of GOD as he too listened to each of those songs.  Little did he know that his son Jared and Jared's wife kasey were going to be in a horrible accident about 2 a.m the next morning.  It could have been a life ending accident.  But God spared them, and later reminded Bill of how he was praying in the Holy Ghost for things he did not know was going to happen.  When you understand that your faith in God is not misplaced.  That He is not slack concerning his promises.  That you can trust God to watch over your family as you strive for the mark for yourself as you obey his words and direction.  Then you can build on this faith and understand more about the love of GOD.  Jesus has the power and motivation to finish the work he has started in your family! Tonights study is a prime example of this

We were not on the air this last week due to our son and his wife being in a accident.  There was physical injury but we saw the grace of GOD in keeping them from being hurt worse or even killed.  So tonight we are bringing you that scheduled show.  Tonight we are moving into the book of Judges.  As always Wild Bill said this teacher brought out some things in a way that he had never thought of before. As you can tell from the starting song that Bill put together.  Obediance is very important to living for GOD!  To say you believe the bible means that you have to obey what it tells us on how we should live.  How many of us have so much potential, that is GOD given and we throw it all away because of our own lust?  It is easy to judge Samson but we should be sure that we are holding ourself to the same level of accountability!  We hate to admit it but our pattern is not that much differant then what we read of others in the bible! We have to make the decision to obey or disobey.  But you cannot justify your way out of taking responsibility for your actions. Tonight we are staying with our bible study that is hitting the high points in trying to cover the bible in a one year class that was taught in a school setting. Wild Bill will promise that you may not agree with everything this teacher has to say.  But he promises it will get you to think of the scriptures in a way that you may not have ever thought of before. This teacher is not teaching in a church setting but believes that the Bible is the inspired word of GOD! He also uses his trips to the region and research to establish that the bible is established in history, and geography. As always at the end of each show you will hear additional comments by Sis. Welcome to our one year bible study that we have been sharing with you.  This bible study is only hitting the high points of scripture but this teacher has a more detailed bible study on the books of the bible available.  We have used some of this detailed teaching in the past and you can go to our archives and listen to those at any time for free.  The shows can also be downloaded to any smart device for free. Last week Moses died. One of the things we wish had been covered with more detail was how Moses blessed the children of Isreal even though he could only see the promise land but was not allowed to enter in due to his disobediance of GOD! The teacher did speak to the geography of the land and how far you can see on a clear day but Bill felt he really did not do justice to the miracle of Moses in his old age being able to see much more then was possible to see with the naked eye through the power of GOD. We are now in the book of Joshua, and from the song you can see we are about to take possession of the first city that Joshua will encounter.  The great walled city of Jericho.  Todays lesson may challange what you were taught in children's church a little but remember this is not being taught as a church class.  You will once again want to take notes and go back and read these scriptures behind this teacher. Last week our internet provider had a system failure in our area that took two days to fix. Nothing we could do about it on our end. So we are bringing you last weeks scheduled show tonight. On our last show someone called in and asked a question about speaking in tongues. This was not the topic of the show and we would like for people to ask questions or make comments on the topic of that show.  With that being said.  We are not afraid to try to answer any questions on bible scripture.  A question like was asked last week cannot be given the time needed to address it properly and know the intent of the caller.  As a rule if you are really interested in a topic like this we would love to follow up with you off the air.  We would love to have you call back into a show and share your thoughts from that process.  We are not afraid of a person who disagrees with us being on our show for all to hear!  We wont be a part of allowing you to mock of the spiritual things of GOD!  Topics like tomgues already has so many misconceptions by people who claim to be bible scholors.  You have to have understanding that all tongues in the bible are not the same.  For those  who are just reading scriptures where they have searched with the word tongues as the topic of the search.  It is easy to see how you could get confused.  Enough said about last weeks show. We pray that you are getting as much out of this bible study as we are.  One thing about getting older you have more appreciation of time.  You notice how many loved ones and friends that have passed away that you miss being able to talk to.  Wild Bill's dad would have had a birthday on the 11th of this month,  He was a great role model when it came to being a man and providing for your family.  JIm Lively is gone but how many other friends and family members have you placed on the side burner of life and have not kept in touch with?  Once they are gone it is to late to say all of those unfinished things you plan to say.  How many of us also forget that GOD is not dead? How many of us put GOD on the side burner of life instead of maintaining a relationship with HIM?  HE is the same yesterday, today, and forever, but we have an expiration date!  So remember to build on this life changing relationship on a daily basis.  Be sure and share these bible study links with all of your friends.
