  • Can law enforcement justify violence against minorities?
Thank you for listening to tonights show. Wild Bill was a police officer, and is a man of faith.  We believe that it is our responsibility to God to show love to our fellow man. Of late Bill found himself doing what he has thrown stones at others for doing regarding basing thoughts on sound bites in the news.  On the issues of police officer's shooting people, he found that it is easy to get caught up in something that is so emotional and personal to him.  The news took all of us to the recent police altercations in  Minnosota, and Lousiana.  The videos looked awful to all of us that care about human life.  The targeting of police officers in Dallas and other states has rocked us all.  The videos and the news coverage seems to expand division and hate!  Police officers are taught to take control of situations and are not paid to fight people.  They are taught how to keep themselves as safe as possible in this process, and part of that has to do with total compliance by the people they are dealing with.  Part of the tools police officers use to do their job has to do with what is known as profiling.  If a car tag shows it belongs in a black area and it is seen in a white neighborhood at night.  It is probably going to be stopped.  The same with a white tag in a black neighborhood. Being in differant neighborhoods is not a crime, but a lot of crime is caught and arrest made from this profiling.  People feel violated when this is done without a doubt.  But is it wrong?  It is a tool that works more then it is wrong and has nothing to do with being racist.  Education and comminucation is needed to find a middle ground.  We hope what we share tonight can help us all find that middle ground, before the nuts come out to get their 15 minutes of fame and stir the pot even more.

  • Sis Bobblie Lively Brings us part two of the 23rd Psalm lesson
We hear so much fear from people of faith in how they speak today! We think most of this has to do with people forgetting to get into the meat of the word! There was so much meat on the last lesson Sis Bobbie Lively gave us on the 23rd Psalm, that we asked her to come back and bring us some more.  It is like a good meal that you can always come back for seconds.  Wild Bill, gets the 23rd Psalm and the Lords prayer mixed up sometimes and I know he wanted me to share that with all of you! For those of you that have a burning lesson or sermon you would like to share.  Just reach out to us through this site or through our face book page, "Your-Place".  We ask that you like us on both sites as this helps expand out outreach.  We get comments from people all over the world that listen to this show.  You can tell if you have the right face book page when you see the light bulb as the pic.  For people who have stage fright, this is a way to share your thoughts without having to stand in front of a crowd.  Another great thing about our show is that each show is stored into our archives.  You can go to the web site and listen to any show direct from the blogtalk page, you can share a link to the page of the show you like with friends on face book, and any of our shows can be download to any smart device for free.  We all like free stuff! Please share out page with your friends and as always we open up the microphones at the end of each show.  All you have to do is push the number 1 on your phone and you will be identified by the last four digits of your phone number when we place you on the air.

  • As people of faith what is your opinion of things?
Hello to everybody in blog talk radio land.  We want to encourage you that if you missed last weeks show from Sis. Bobbie Lively, that you go to our archives and listen to this show.  Tonight we want to ask you your opinion on things in this world and how do you rate the importance of your opinion.  We know that everybody has their own thoughts on a wide range of issues. From gay marriage, the shooting deaths of those in Orlando, who should be our next president, should they have killed the ape to save the kid who fell into it's cage at the zoo, and will gun control laws stop gun violance?  The list can go on forever of what you may choose is the most important issue we face and your thoughts you feel we need to all apply to this situation.  First you get to hear from Wild Bill on his thoughts, and he thinks his opinion on this topic may change your opinion on what is the most important topic!  So let us all listen and see if he is correct.

  • Sis Bobbie Lively shares a Thought on the 23rd Psalm
Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  Sis Bobbie Lively aka Blog Talk Mom, aka Rapping Granny will be our guest speaker tonight.  We know that life is one of those things that can really get you down.  We hear almost daily about people deciding to kill groups of people and themselves for a thought of what they feel religion is all about. Life will test you from your first breath until you take your last. The real test of life is in how you establish your priorities. If your life is all about having fun, and taking care of number one? You have missed living! The only real life you can have is in Jesus. This one scripture has more about life in it then something you memorize as a child in bible school. Nothing here demands us to throw away the gift of life we have been blessed with or to take this gift from others.  This scripture makes it clear that their is a relationship available to all.  A relationship between God and you if you want it!  It is no surprise that relationships in life change our priorities.  Ask any married person about this process of priority.  They will tell you how life becomes more about others then it is about yourself. I look forward to hearing what Sis. Lively has for us tonight on this scripture. I know you will be blessed.

  • Looking at Jurisdiction of Law from a faith based point of view
Hello, and we are so sorry about not being on the air last week.  We thought we ran out of time to put a show together and instead remembered a week late that we had already put this show together. History is one of those things that is being rewritten by people who are wanting to analyze what happened from a perspective instead of just following what was written at the time the history was taking place.  This is good for people who have the mindset of the direction our world is heading into today.  But for people of faith who are not understanding based on the sound bite news they hear.  We have a treat for you.  Real histtry that formed our laws based on how the original law makers lived and thought.  We will bring you more of these at a later time.  We have been slammed by not bringing more information on current events regarding, "The Donald".  We may have put some of these in here for you but cannot remember for sure.  Guess we will all be surprised at what we get on this show tonight.

  • Taking a moment to remember our fallen service men and women
Yesterday was memorial day.  On this show we always want to take time to give tribute to the brave men and women who serve our country in the military, law enforcment, fire departments, and rescue services.  These people are willing to give the full measure of devotion to a job that can cost them their very life.  Memorial Day is the day we give honor to those who paid the ultimate price of given all they had to give.  A true full measure of devotion that can't be shown in any other way.  It is our duty to remember those that are fallen.  When we look at these people that serve in our daily life.  We sometimes look at their them with hate based on something we have heard in the news. Sometimes fear, based being on the wrong side of what is right.  But when in need, we call them first to come to our aid.  As people of faith do you take the time to look in your local paper to see if anybody in your area has paid this price and reach out to the family, take time to pray a covering over them, go to a VA hospital and just say thank you for your service, or volunteer to show gratitude for their service?  We have enjoyed all of the comments regarding our show on the presidential election process.  It is so easy to judge policy and our political leaders when it comes to decisions that involve these brave men and women.  We ask you tonight, to put yourself under the same  microscope and measure what you do compared to our leaders.  As Jesus said, Let he that is without sin cast the first stone."  How many stones have you cast at others while putting yourself on a judgment seat that you should not be sitting on regarding our service people?  At the end of this show you can say anything on this topic that you wish as long as you do it with respect.  You choose which speech you like the most!

  • In Response to our listeners. Another look into the election!
We could not believe how many of you responded with comments on our show regarding the election process, and the players involved.  As people of faith, it is important that we all know exactly what we are talking about.  In truth that is impossible, because the entire truth is not available to us.  If you have listened to any of the debates you will notice that the speaking points have not changed much between Clinton, and Sanders. You may also have noticed that, "The Donald" has polished up his campaign to try to bring in more of the conservitives of the Republican base.  We are going to bring you some more information to our democratic process, but apoligize up front due to not having more information on Trump.  Who knows, your calls could provide the information needed to bring the missing information to all of our listeners.  We warn you that we fact check things said on this show that we do not know for sure that is said on this show. But do not let that keep you from open debate on how you feel and what you think about our election process.  All you have to do is push the number 1 at the end of the show.  We will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number as we place you on the air.  We will not talk over the top of you and ask that you keep your language as civil as possible.  This is a family show!

  • A factual look at the 2016 Election!
That song gives a lot of insight into love.  As people of faith we read in the bible how we are to be like Jesus who was all about love.  Jesus even said that he would know his people because they would have love one for another.  Yet, people of faith seem to forget that more then most other groups when looking at politics.  They also seem to ignore the advise that was given to the Jews in regards to their hatrid of the Romans.  When it came to carrying the armour of a soldier that asked they were required to carry it one mile.  Jesus said to carry it an extra mile.  Jesus also made it clear that there was to be a seperation of political issues from the spiritual issues.  Saying, Give unto God what is God's and give unto Rome what is Romes.  Prayer is supposed to be a strong hold for people of faith. Jesus even said his house would be known as a house of prayer.  Again, not so much where politics is concerned. Because we are told to pray for those that have rule over us. Anyway, we are not taking sides in tonights show.  We are bringing you some interesting facts we thought you might enjoy hearing in case all you get is what you hear at church.  We are not saying people in ignorance would tell a lie about people in polictics.  We hope to just provide a more clear picture of the process and the choices in the running at this time. As always you can share your opinion at the end of each show or add facts we may have missed. All you have to do is push one on your phone.  We will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number.

  • A Salute to Mothers
Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  Last Sunday was Mother's Day.  We wanted to do a tribute show to honor this holiday.  Just remember if it was not for mothers, that none of us would be here.  Mother's that did not hear from your children this last Sunday.  This is a good show to send them a link to and put them in their place. Just kidding but we put this show together to give honor to mothers and we did this with our mom's in our heart.  So we pray that it blesses all of you as you listen.  If you would like to say something special about your mom then you can do that at the end of this show.  We always open up the microphones at the end of each show so that you can make a comment or ask a question.  All you have to do is push the number 1 on your phone.  We will identify you with the last four digits of your phone number.

  • Sis Linda Kyser from the archives
Our dear friend Sis. Linda Kyser has been under the weather with her health the last couple of years.  In going through the archives of our show, I found where she was one of our first guest speakers.  Really, she is more like family then a guest speaker. At that time in our history we did not know very much about blog talk radio, and were totally confused on how to know when to speak when people were miles apart and speaking into a telephone.  In truth we are probably not much better now then when we were in the beginning.  Trying  not to leave dead air space and not talking over each other is still hard to do. We hope that this show blesses you as much as it did us in going back to remember Sis. Kyser when she was still able to preach and teach. As always we open up the microphones for those of you that would like to make a comment at the end of the show.
