We want to thank all of you that have let us know how much you are getting from this study on the book of Acts.  We hope that you enjoyed the singing and music provided for tonights show by the Keith Franklin family.  It is great to have friends like this who had the forsight while their children were young to record their family like this.  If I am not mistaken they are adding new songs this year to their progression of Chirstmas songs.  We have been feeling a desire for a while now to get more of the word of God out to people in its written context instead of just picking and choosing a verse here and there to make a point.  I am not saying there is anything wrong with a teacher or preacher doing this but I will say that we need a balance if you are ever going to get a clear picture on your own.  At this time we do not plan to do a Christmas show this year but we do want to remind everybody to remember that this is not a happy time of year to everybody.  Many people feel alone, are reminded of loss, look back at errors of judgment that was made in the past, cannot afford a good meal much less buy gifts that in a few weeks most people will forget that you got for them.  We mention this to remind you to be aware of these problems others face this time of the year.  You could provide an act of kindness to someone who is hurting that could save their life!  A kind word or gesture on your part is such a small thing that we forget just how powerful it can be to someone who is hurting.  I think God meant that part in the bible where he tells us to love our neighbor as ourself?  Have you put legs on this part of your life lately?  If you are hearing this show it is not to late.  Okay, lets get back into our study on the book of Acts.

We want to thank all of you that have enjoyed listening to our lessons on the book of Acts.  This is an important book to comprehend due to the fact that this is the new testiment plan of salvation for all mankind.  As we are in the silly season where you may be aware that Christmas is a pagen holiday with a changed face to appear as a religious holiday.  We want to remind you to be kind to each other. We pray that all of you have had a blessed time with family during the holidays.  I can remember a few holidays when I was a kid, where it was more like family tag team wrestling! It could be over the most stupid of things.  Someone did not get their picture taken enough.  Some people were aggravated by the flash in their face, or you could eat to little or two much.  There did not have to be a lot of reason or logic to those things.  But heaven help you if you were outside of our family and you were the offending party.  When I was younger there was aunts and uncles that like to feel the spirit that came from a bottle.  Is it not funny how we look at those times differently when the people you think about have died. Welcome to tonights show.  Can you believe that our weekly show fell on election day? So many of you probably thought I would have taken advantage of this and brought you a show based on what to look for from each of the candidates running for President of this country!  Surprise, Surpirse, Surprise!  We turned left at the last intersection instead and are going to bring you part 1 of a in depth look at the book of ACTS in the bible. Most people do like birds pecking and looking for little tid bits of what taste good to make a point when reading their bible.  In doing that we sometimes miss the big picture if not all of the time.  I have been blown away by listening to this teaching as it brings up so many things that many people just overlook in getting a big picture of the bible.  I will say that I am not sure I agree with some of the things you will hear tonight but this teaching is so open and so in depth that I am not going to point out anything specific.  You need to have a pencil and paper handy, or be prepared to listen to this teaching several times from the archives to get it all.  If people enjoy what we have tonight we will bring you some more of the insigths of this bible scholor on the book of Acts.

Welcome to another show here at, "Your Place".  My dad would have had a birthday on October the 11th and a lot of things on my plate right now made it stick out just how much I missed him.  So the song we played at the beginning of our show tonight was in tribute to how he processed life and doing right by your fellow man. Totally on the opposite side of the coin we are bringing you a couple of lessons that were preached by, Pastor Kenneth Carpenter here in Tennessee.  When you look at salvation the bible makes it very clear that it is not how you think it should be and you are okay.  It details beginning in old testiment prophecy of a specific plan of escape that was put in place for people to follow and be saved.  But with so many churches preaching a feel good message that has strayed so far from what the Bible actually tells people to do.  We thought we would really scare you for a Halloween show and get you to hear if this is the plan you are following.  If not the bible tells us Hell has enlarged herself to contain you and your fellow do it your own way crowd.  That is why the bible tells us to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  Said if anybody to include an angel from heaven told you of another way that they woould be accursed!  The way of the apostiles doctrine is still being taught in a few churches.  If you are having trouble finding one, we would be glad to  help! Welcome to tonights show. Well last week we had a technical error on the part of Wild Bill and there was no show. Just goes to show that even after all of this time of us doing the show that mistakes can be made.  Can you tell us how many times we have used the word show so far? Tonight we have Sis. Bobbie blessing us with a lesson on Job.  We have a tendacy to look at Job and see what it is recorded and a cruel God using us in a game with Satan.  But tonight you will see that this is far from the truth of what the message is for us to learn.  Of course the devil would love for us to always think of God in a negitive light. That is why we put the intro song together that we did. Because Satan is a liar, and is the one that will play games with your mind in an effort to Kill steal and destroy everything that we love and care about in having a relationship with God.

Kline is our guest speaker.  He has blessed us before by providing guest speakers and has taught on our show before.  It is always a blessing to hear what he has shared with us.  You can find these past shows in our archives and download them to any smart device for free.  We hope that Dr. Kline shares a little about the, "Apostolic Theological Seminary" tonight!  By now, we all know how Wild Bill hates it when people repeat things as fact without really knowing what they are talking about.  We have all done this at one time, but that is not an excuse to not study and be properly prepared. Just because you hear something a thousand times on the radio, on the news and even from a pulpit does not make it automaticly true!  Do any of us really think we can stand before God and use the excuse of ignorance, well I thought, well I felt, or I did my best?  These are just some of the lies told by Satan to those who will listen.  We really appreciate people like Dr. Kline that have dedicated so much of their life to helping pastors, teachers, and saints get into the meat of the word! Only through Bible based factual teaching and study, can you really have confidence of your salvation!  Tonight the title of the lesson is, "Fire Baptism"!  We are so excited and looking forward to hearing this lesson tonight.  Be sure and pass this on to your friends.  You will not be disappointed!
