I arrived at the stark realization that I wasn't running my business -- my business was running me. My company was in the red and I was drowning.

When I walked away from my last job in 2011 it was both exciting & scary! I didn’t realise I was walking into some of my biggest mistakes before Starting a Home based business! I was working in Housing management aka Social Housing, which entailed a traditional work week of 35 Hrs, lots of outdoor field work, aka tenant and neighbourhood visits! A monthly pay check, paid vacations, etc. And then I literally stayed at home for a good 9 months. I was seriously job hunting, and getting nowhere, I started thinking I had made a huge mistake walking away from a job that was paying £30k+/yr. Then I was presented with a home based/internet marketing idea! I launched “my business” with gusto and then the lessons begun! I was excited and equally anxious to embark on this totally unfamiliar path. In the same way empty your mind of all you dont need to focus your thoughts on and zone in on what matters t your life, happiness, growth and increase. You will see hat you accomplish in a day...you will feel accomplished :)

We have tried Linklove, Onlywire, Hootsuite, Facebook posters, networked blogs etc etc. And I have found that none of these can beat having other people sharing your content be it a social media update or a blog post! I love retweets, FB shares, Repins, Instashares, etc. I love em all…WHY? Because it means I don’t have t do all the heavy lifting! And it also is a highly effective way to social media productivity.

Write a letter to you, self audit, explore your past year and anticipate the new one coming. It's a nice moment of reflection and will help you as it does always help me focus on tomorrow with a positive outlook!

It might feel weird, writing to yourself. That’s okay. Just get to it. Talk about what really worked well for you last year. Did you make lasting changes that have brought major life improvements? Did you meet any of your 2015 goals? What excited you most? What awesome things happened?

Think about what didn’t work, too. Any bad habits, anything that got worse instead of better! Try to figure out why that happened. Can You change it? What’s causing you stress or pain or anxiety right now. Can you do something about it?

Write to yourself about the things you plan to keep doing, and how you plan to leverage those good things into even more good things in 2015. Do the same in reverse for the stress/pain/anxiety causing things. What can you do in 2015 to get rid of those things? Make a solid plan, in writing, promising yourself to follow a plan to change the things that aren’t working right now.

I’m not talking about those fabled ugly green monsters hiding under a bridge waiting to jump you. Neither am I talking about the lovable Shrek-like creatures! Nope

No one likes to be stalked on or offline. At least no one we know and yet there are some sad people online that feel its their job in their sad sick lives to stalk others online and be nasty as heck!
