What a story Dr Mashego shared with Jovi and Ryan. In this episode we unpack the passion for fitness, similarities between business and fitness and how she has developed personally through the Covid 19 pandemic.  It was amazing to see the journey Hajira has been on, from following in her fathers footsteps in the medical field to eventually facing the "What now moment?".

We had the in depth discussion with Brian Francis, founder of Clean Slate, about his story so far. We discuss the calling to come back to East London, the challenges of helping others and the social experiment he conducted by going homeless for a week.  It was truly inspiring to see the journey Brian has walked, the foundation in faith being a major compass in directing him through the ups and downs. 

By being disciplined enough to embark on journeys of self discovery and gaining a deeper insight into people he looks to help has to be admired.  The ability to treat someone as equals, no matter what your past is like is something we should all adopt. No matter your journey so far, we can always start a clean slate, both personally and for others.

In this story with Robyn we unpack being a big hearted creative, dealing with our inner trauma and how paying it forward to help empower and uplift someone else is the most rewarding feeling in the world.  It is amazing how the right people are put in your path at the right time throughout your life. Robyn's pure compassion in encouraging and supporting the concept of the YSG in its early stage, will forever be close to our hearts.

It shows the importance of helping others find and nature their true purpose and passion in life. It is such an important factor in life that we should all embrace, and take a page out of Robyn's story in finding what you want, what coping mechanisms to put in place and live a life according to your rules.  I truly believe we are all big hearted creatives, sometimes we just need the right people around us to show us exactly how big it can be.

What a story we unpacked with Angela. We discussed starting from humble beginnings, the purpose nature in ones life and being part of a collective movement bigger than ourselves.  The journey of Angela has to be admired, being rooted in a respectful and  humbling manner has enabled her to view the gift that is life.

From caring for humanity, caring for ones self and family to finding purpose in what you do, it is all connected. If we want people to shine like diamonds, we need to be diamonds ourselves, as diamonds can only polish and shine together.  Be the diamond.

What a power story we unpacked with Desirae Pillay. We discussed how to respect other peoples stories, the strength drawn from a traumatic past and how we can all become a small piece of beautiful bigger picture.  The strength of character has to be respected and admired. A pillar of composure and support, despite having a traumatic past and triggers points.

 Finding peace and identity in her writing has shaped her to become such a caring and compassionate person. A living, breathing example that you can create the future and impact you want, despite any challenge life throws at you

We had the pleasure of unpacking Marion story where we spoke about the seed being planted for serving others, having a big family and what holds her together despite difficult challenges along her journey so far.  

It was a breath of fresh air to see someone so rooted in helping others within their communities. A true beacon of putting others first and wanted to be a pioneer in providing a safe environment where family and stability meet. No obstacle in life , whether community or personal, is too big to overcome or conquer, Marion is a living example of that.

In this story with the "Blind Goddess", Meagan Chauke Adonis, we chat about the road to becoming blind, the importance of support and the road ahead to build a more inclusive community and country.  

Meagans story is truly inspiring, a beacon of positivity and a hope not only for anyone that has a disability, but anyone that is going through a tough journey.
