Does your own sin ever scare you?
In this episode of You’re Probably Right, MCM reflects on sin, human weakness, temptation, idolatry, anger, speech, self-worship, and the struggle between what we know is right and what we still find ourselves doing.
Using Colossians 3 and Romans 7 as the foundation, this episode looks at how our humanity, our thoughts, our eyes, our mouths, our hands, our bodies, and our desires can become vehicles for sin when they are not submitted to God.
MCM reflects on two difficult lists.
The first is connected to perverted love: the desires, actions, habits, and private struggles that pull us away from God.
The second is connected to perverted hate: anger, slander, abusive speech, bitterness, and the social sins that show up in how we treat people.
This is a personal episode about recognizing sin honestly instead of pretending it only belongs to other people.
The bigger question is simple:
If sin is still working in your thoughts, your body, your words, your anger, and your desires, does that bother you enough to bring it before God?
MCM also reflects on Romans 7:15 and the painful reality of doing what we do not want to do, while struggling to live the way we know we should.
This episode is not about pretending to be perfect. It is about conviction, repentance, humility, and understanding that the more you know God, the more you live for God, and the more you surrender to God, the more you can triumph over what once controlled you.
If you have ever wrestled with sin, guilt, anger, temptation, idolatry, or the fear that your heart is not where it should be, this episode is for you.
