You have a story. God doesn't want you to hide your story, but get comfortable with it and—when the opportunity arises—share it. When we choose to follow Christ, we become billboards of God's grace and God's hope. Your story is one of your greatest weapons.

What was your main takeaway from the previous episode? After listening to the episode, have you become more or less confident in God's ability to use you? Why?

At Southland, we encourage our congregation to live With Jesus, In Community, and On Mission or what we refer to as "The Triangle." Read Mark 10:42-45, Philippians 2:3-4, and 1 Peter 4:10. One of the ways we can live "on mission" is by serving inside or outside the church. What does serving look like for you during this season? What have you learned from the experience? If you've not been able to serve, what barriers have you encountered?

Read Proverbs 3:27, John 3:16, and 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. Another way we can live "on mission" is by giving our time, talent, or treasure to others. What does giving look like for you during this season? What have you learned from the experience? If you've not been able to give, what barriers have you encountered?

Read Matthew 5:14-16, 1 Peter 3:15-16, and Colossians 4:5-6. A third way we can live "on mission" is by sharing our testimony or what God has done in our life with others. What does sharing look like for you during this season? What have you learned from the experience? If you've not been able to share, what barriers have you encountered?

Read 2 Corinthians 3:2-6. William J. Toms paraphrased this passage when he famously said, "Be careful how you live; you may be the only Bible some people ever read." If someone were to "read'' your life, what conclusions would they draw?

Grab a sheet of paper and create a Venn diagram using the following 3 circles:      Ability → What gifts or talents has God equipped you with?      Affinity → Where has God naturally hardwired your heart to find joy?      Affirmation → How has God directly or indirectly confirmed this through His word, through prayer, or through other followers of Jesus?

*Where these 3 circles intersect is most likely your spiritual gift. Pray for God to reveal where you may have margin during this season to utilize this gift for His Kingdom. Connect with someone at your local church to discuss next steps.
