Golf Rounds
It's all relative but what do y'all consider a lot of golf? We're playing a lot of golf this year, but maybe that's not a lot compared to others, but the bug is certainly there.
Balls Per Round
While scores and handicaps aren't coming down as fast as we've liked, it does seem like the amount of balls used per round is dropping, and Billy's scoring average has come down a stroke. It feels good to play with a sleeve of balls.
Myrtle Beach Golf
It's been awhile since we've played in MB, and the mental game was a bit better this round, and the Redneck Riviera did not disappoint! The round went great. Tune in to see how what we shot.
Blow Up Holes
Ball striking and scores are improving but there are still too many blow-up holes. The key to lowering scores/handicap is not making more birdies, it's avoiding the big number.
Brian's Tear 9 Hole Round
Brian was in the zone and had one of his best 9's ever! It feels good to get everything clicking.
The Challenge
Brian had to play a round without a range finder, and Billy couldn't use his 58 degree. Brian can sometimes get obsessed with the number, and Billy leaves some of his chips short. For both of us the challenge worked out great. Sometimes feel can really help free your mind, and doing a challenge can free the ego.
Good Bounces & Hard Work
It's nice to see some hard work pay off, but it also helps to get a few bounces here and there. Sometimes it can be the difference between a good round and a great round.
A lot of times people will get down because one round it seems like their driver is great but they can't putt, or there irons are on, but they can't chip. I'm trying to change my mental attitude to start looking at this as a positive. How do you that? Tune in and find out how.
The fastest way to lower your scores is by getting more GIR, but how do you do that? Easier said then done.
Key Takeaways
Play comfortable, play with in yourself, take the easy chip, and more!
