Rueben Saggar is 12 years old, which makes him the youngest speaker at TedX's Youth Event this Saturday! He spoke to Lachlan on the phone this morning about the event, but also touched on what his wishes for Perth youth are. He wants the ideas of young people to be accepted and taken more seriously, as well as climate change policies being put on the table so the next generation know the world they are going to be living in.

Talk2mebro is a non-profit organisation that was developed to help reduce the number of males who commit suicide. Through early intervention, the aim is to create societal change by reducing the stigma around suicide and getting men to feel ok talking about what they are going through.

Some key tips:

•Vote with your non-negotiables in mind. For example, you may be passionate about a skate park being built in your area, find a candidate that will stand by a commitment to see that happen.

•Research. Don't necessarily take things at face value. Go online, look at policies and who the candidates are.

•Ask the tough questions. Want to know something? ASK! Ask the tough questions.
