在中文里，读书可能有两个意思

zài zhōng wén lǐ ，dú shū kě néng yǒu liǎng gè yì si

In Chinese, it may have two meanings.

一个是阅读

yī gè shì yuè dú

One is "reading".

比如：我的业余爱好是读书，也就是，我的业余爱好是阅读

bǐ rú ：wǒ de yè yú ài hào shì dú shū ，yě jiù shì ，wǒ de yè yú ài hào shì yuè dú

For example: my hobby is reading books.

一个是学习

yī gè shì xué xí

The other is "studying".

比如，孩子要好好读书才能有出息呀，也就是，孩子要好好学习才能有出息呀
