This week, former President Donald Trump surrendered to authorities and pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, related to alleged hush money payments made to two women during his 2016 presidential campaign. It marks the first time in U.S. history that a current or former president has ever faced criminal charges.

Zachary Carter, who previously served as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District, joined Errol Louis to discuss the unprecedented event, as they focused on how the unsealed indictment appears to be much broader than just the Stormy Daniels case.
