One of the goals of Zen Commuter is to live a satisfying life. What does that mean though. It means you make decisions about what you want for your life. You don't leave it up to chance and you don't, most importantly, simply react out of emotion. Today I talk about the ways to respond to triggers thoughtfully, as opposed to rectively

I am not even going to pretend. I tell you that this podcast is for you, and it is 100%, except for today. Today it is totally self serving. I have an opportunity to help out a great charity and have some fun doing it. I have been given an opportunity to rappel down a 24 story building and I am so excited to have the chance. However, to have that opportunity I need to raise $1500.00 for the Greater Nashua Dental Connection. It is a win-win, because the GNDC does amazing work so anything I can do to help I will gladly do. But if I get to help them out and rappel down a building, that is the best thing ever. With all that said, today's episode is about how giving to charity makes you happier.

We all have woken up on some days just totally out of it, not feeling our best, wondering if the day was going to go as poorly we felt. But, that is only one option. You are absolutely correct, that if you leave the day to it's own devices, with you starting off feeling cra**y, then the day is probably going to stink. So what do you do? You change it, of course. Today I am going to tell you the steps I take to turning a day around. There are 5 of them and they are easy to master.
