I thought I had cancelled the Mystery Poke Slab subscription, but I must have been a little late. There is a net loss on this subscription. You pay $65 (marked down from $75). The first box I received had a $30 value card and this one was a $40 value card. If the value was at least at a break even price, I might continue. At this point I would just be gambling each month that I would get one of the lucky gold boxes.

Even if you're a hard core Pokemon collector, you would do much better buying the graded card you want online. With this subscription service you are hoping it is a good value and more importantly, that it is a Pokemon you want. My suggestion is to steer clear of this service.

It seems like all the fast food companies are adding a "spicy" option to their menu. Arby's added a challenge to their spicy menu, the Diablo Dare. Starting January 18, 2023 anyone who has taken the challenge is encouraged to use the #ArbysDiabloDare hashtag on TikTok to talk about their experience and how long it took them to down the sandwich.

Arby's believes they have the spiciest sandwich on the market. The sandwich has five sources of spice, including a layer of ghost pepper jack cheese, fiery hot seasoning, fire-roasted jalapenos, a special BBQ sauce and it's all placed in between a red chipotle bun. Customers can choose a crispy chicken patty or smoked brisket for the protein, I chose smoked brisket. They even include a 12-ounce vanilla milkshake for free to cool your mouth down between bites.

"This is not a sandwich for the faint of heart," said Patrick Schwing, chief marketing officer of Arby's, in a release. "Everyone in the quick service restaurant industry says they have a spicy option, but our research tells us that consumers are disappointed by fast food claims of spicy."

I heard Arby's added some spicy food to their menu and I had to try it for myself. The Diablo Loaded Fries are supposed to be enough to satisfy lovers of the spiciest foods.

Arby's Description

Spicy fanatics, you've met your match. Fiery seasoning, fire-roasted jalapeños, Diablo BBQ Sauce -- it's all here. We'll throw in a FREE Snack Size Vanilla Shake when you purchase a Diablo Sandwich + Diablo Loaded Fries. Trust us, you'll need it to cool back down.

Jumped on a train from Belfast to Portrush, Northern Ireland. Portrush is a seaside resort town and I was there during the off-season. I kinda equate it with Jersey Shore or Coney Island. Since it was the off-season there was no wait to see anything, downside is there wasn't really much going on to go see.

This video is a quick highlight of the thing I saw and did in Belfast. Portrush is home to the Royal Portrush Golf Club, the only golf club outside Great Britain which has hosted The Open Championship in 1951 and 2019.

The ghost pepper, also known as bhut jolokia is an interspecific hybrid chili pepper cultivated in Northeast India. In 2007, Guinness World Records certified that the ghost pepper was the world's hottest chili pepper, 170 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. The ghost chili is rated at more than one million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). However, in the race to grow the hottest chili pepper, the ghost chili was superseded by the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper in 2011 and the Carolina Reaper in 2013. Needless to say, Ghost Peppers are HOT! When I found out Burger King was making a special Ghost Pepper Whopper, I had to try it.

The McDonald's McRib wasn't a huge hit when it was first introduced. That might be because it came on a normal bun and the BBQ sauce was in a packet like their ketchup. They did a little revamp to make it what it is today. Now they bring the McRib back every once in a while, usually in the fall, to great fanfare. When the McRib is announced as being back on the menu, tons of people flock to McDonald's to get their fix.

I make the annual pilgrimage to the Mesilla Valley Maze in Las Cruces every year in October. There is a plethora of things to do and see there for all ages. They have covered pavilions and you are allowed to bring your own food and drink. You can plan on spending hours there with the kiddos and have lunch without breaking the bank. Put this place on your list of places to visit every Halloween season.

The Ninja Turtles are one of the most popular comic book/cartoon franchises out there. The Last Ronin mini-series sold well enough to make the New York Times best seller list. This statue pays homage to that series.

ABOUT THIS STATUE

“No matter what’s changed … this is still our home turf.”

Sideshow and Premium Collectibles Studio present the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin 1:4 Scale Statue – Supreme Edition.

Inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, this incredible statue captures the determination and resolve of the last surviving member of the TMNT, Michelangelo, in a bleak alternate future ruled by the Foot Clan. The Last Ronin Statue – Supreme Edition measures 23.5” tall as Michelangelo stalks the sewers in pursuit of his enemies, guided by the ghosts of his brothers. A highly detailed environment base puts the turtle in his native element, with grimy water flowing around rust-colored pipes deep beneath the Foot Clan-controlled city. The statue includes four weapon proximity pieces that can be placed anywhere along the base for an added storytelling element, representing the arsenals of Michelangelo’s fallen brothers as well as his own: a sai, a broken bo staff, a shattered sword, and nunchaku.

The breathtaking proximity piece of brothers Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello is fully sculpted and painted in a spectral teal with white highlights to make the turtle trio stand out against the darkness of the ronin’s stealthy garb. Reaching their hands out to lend strength to their brother, these fallen heroes in a half shell are detailed with intricate costume textures and a base of ghostly wisps encompassing the entire scene. The Last Ronin Statue – Supreme Edition can be displayed with or without this element attached. Without the ghost brothers, the statue measures 20.5” tall.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin 1:4 Scale Statue – Supreme Edition has a fully sculpted costume to recreate Michelangelo’s stealthy new suit, detailed with incredible textures replicating fabric, belts, and weathered armor elements. The statue includes two pairs of arms, each with unique weapons for a variety of display options: Michelangelo has a sleeved right arm holding a sai, a sleeved left arm with a bo staff, a sleeveless right arm with a katana, and a sleeveless left arm with a tonfa. A removable sword handle fits into the sheath on his back to add yet another display configuration, giving you complete control of the ronin’s arsenal. With a black domino mask beneath his hood and a snarl on his face, this incredible statue embodies the rage and determination of the last Ninja Turtle in his tireless quest for vengeance.
