Ladies and gentlemen, Alexander Bard.
Bard is a Swedish cyberphilosopher, music producer, television star, and highly sought-after international speaker. He has written five books together with media theorist Jan Söderqvist. The first three titles – The Netocrats, The Global Empire and The Body Machines – have also been released together as The Futurica Trilogy and translated to over 20 languages. A fourth book Syntheism – Creating God in The Internet Age was released in 2014 and in the autumn of 2018 the fifth book Digital Libido – Sex, Power and Violence in The Network Society was published. Throughout their oeuvre, Bard & Söderqvist construct a brand new metaphysical system for the digital age, covering everything from the inner existential truths of the new physics to the radical utopian potential of participatory culture.
We discuss decentralization, the future of the internet, and how narcissism is no longer an adaptive strategy. Buckle up, this guy has that salty Swedish wisdom.

This week I sit down with a wise woman who also happens to be my mother.
Dr. Keesha Ewers started her career as a nurse practitioner, hospice caregiver, and mother to 4 children. She is a deep systems thinker with a wide range of knowledge including Peruvian Shamanism, Ayurvedic Medicine, hypnotherapy, and Nondual Saiva Tantra. She has a PhD in Functional Sexology and has dedicated her life to creating better systems for the flourishing of vibrant, awakened humans.
We discuss the current breakdown in institutional trust, mortido vs. libido, interpreting mystical experience, and how to reclaim sovereignty through the healing process. My apologies for the audio issues…it’s still a fantastic conversation! XOXO, C

Today my guests are Mike Gilliland and Euvie Ivanova from The Future Thinkers podcast.
I first discovered their them around five years ago and was blown away by their creativity, insatiable curiosity, and entrepreneurial spirit. They were two young married digital nomads talking about psychedelics, technology, and whatever other cutting edge insights came across their radar.
What started off as recorded conversations over the breakfast table, futurethinkers.org has grown into a dynamic online community, a podcast with over 3.5 million downloads, and new online course offerings.
We discuss the early years of their podcast, balancing life together as married business partners, digital nomadism, and finding freedom in a world on the edge.

Today my guest is Daniel Jeffries.
Dan was one of the first grown ups I discovered when I first entered the moon-crazed juvenile world of cryptocurrency. Dan is a popular writer, having published science fiction novels and numerous viral Medium articles including Way of the Spiritual Warrior, Surviving Crypto Winter, and Rick and Morty and the Meaning of Life.
I wasn’t interested in talking to Dan about Bitcoin (though I’ve listened to him talk eloquently about crypto on many podcasts). I wanted to hear Dan’s story. What’s his approach to spirituality? What has he learned on his path to becoming a “B-list Crypto Celebrity” (his words) and a digital nomad who travels all over the world writing and giving impromptu speeches at giant conferences about the rise of AI?
This conversation did not disappoint. Dan offers humor, wisdom, and a no-bullshit attitude toward designing a meaningful existence. If you aren’t already familiar with him, you’re welcome.

Today my guest is Tiago Forte.
Tiago Forte is a writer, speaker, teacher, and researcher obsessed with the future of work. In a previous life, he worked in microfinance, served in the Peace Corps, and consulted for large companies on product development.
Tiago believes that the goals of organizations and their employees are fundamentally aligned around human-centered productivity. He draws on his background in design and technology to help knowledge workers improve their performance, discover better ways of doing things, and reframe their relationship to their work.
This conversation got bumped to the top of the queue because of its potent psychoactive nature. Enjoy!

Today my guest is Tasshin Fogleman.
I found Tasshin on Twitter (which continues to prove itself a goldmine for interesting, open-hearted podcast guests). I was following an inquiry around Monastic practice. I trained at Dai Bosatsu Zendo for a summer in 2017 but wanted to find an organization that felt more integrated with the modern world. I stumbled across The Monastic Academy based in Lowell, VT and started discovering exciting voices coming from this rural VT community (see Daniel Thorson’s Emerge podcast).
Tasshin is the Assistant Director at The Monastic Academy. I connected with him to discuss his path, how he discovered The Monastic Academy, and what is it they’re doing. How is monastic training relevant to the modern person? Should training be somehow different because it’s 2019 and shit is uniquely crazy? Tasshin and I explore toxic individualism, healthy ego development/practice, and how The Monastic Academy aims to address the current cultural crisis.
In 2018, Tasshin took bodhisattva vows with Shinzen Young and Soryu Forall, and received the name Tasshin, 達真. 達 means to “reach,” “arrive at,” “achieve,” or “touch.” 真 means “truth” or “authenticity.” Most people pronounce this with the Americanized pronunciation, which sounds like the English words “toss shin.”

This week my guest is Jennifer Gresham.
Jennifer Gresham has helped hundreds of people around the world find greater fulfillment and financial success as a high performance coach and business strategist. She founded Work for Humanity to help people see the future as an invitation to create a better human experience of work, rather than a dire problem to solve.
This simple shift in mindset challenges every single one of us to become part of the solution. Indeed, building a future of work that serves us under these dynamic conditions will require nearly everyone’s contribution.
Prior to her coaching, Gresham spent 16 years in the U.S. Air Force as a scientist and an officer. She is the former Assistant Chief Scientist of the Human Performance Wing for the Air Force Research Laboratory, where she helped lead a $100M research portfolio spanning the fields of biology, psychology, and technology.
During her military career, she also taught college chemistry, served as a program manager for the Surface & Interfacial Science and Biophysical Mechanisms programs at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, and led Corporate Communications for the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Gresham is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and received her Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Maryland. She was awarded the Air Force Research and Development Scientist of the Year in 2008 and is the author of several publications on human performance augmentation.
