As we began to see yesterday, “hope” is an essential concept for our assurance in the here and now. Biblical hope is a real thing, a confident expectation of good, based upon the finished work of Christ on the cross. We began to see yesterday that, if our hope is built on what we have done, we will be ashamed of that hope!
