The closet of the RV, which will force me to go through what participants of the show Tiny House Nation are asked to do in order to downsize, is now more or less ready for garments. Surprisingly, my two end tables fit perfectly side by side under the rack to create three new levels of storage. The drawer faces now have beautiful hardware and tropical paper with trim. I built an RV sized chandelier while keeping the dog in over lunch.

In this episode I talk about getting the new table installed, including all the little solutions that make up what seemed on the surface like a simple project. I share how I intuitively figured out the expert method of getting wood out of a circular drill bit. And I describe what comes next in the RV renovation.

To me every little miracle matters a great deal. I consider a miracle to be finding a scrap of flooring thought to have been thrown away at the exact right time to be able to put it to use where it turns out I need it. There are big miracles too, those in this case involving the defense of the land itself, which I will elaborate in a future podcast episode but at which I hint in this one. Today during the reno project I built an impromptu floor and finished the seat cubbies for the table area.

In this episode I catch you up on my experience using spray foam to insulate the cabinetry and storage compartments of the RV, working with various contractors, and strategizing different projects in the RV so I can utilize certain areas for staging once they are completed. All this in the midst of what looks like the debris field of a tornado.
