Zone-casts: Heel Turn

Against all common sense, the new XFL kicks off this weekend. Sportsball Expert Oscar Bernard joins John Gawarecki-Cosell and Trace Madden in the Wednesday Night XFL studio to determine Week One’s winners and losers. Also we run down this week’s episodes of AEW Dynamite and NXT. This is still a PLURfessional wrestling podcast, after all.

John and Oscar are two philistines who don’t follow “real wrestling” like New Japan Pro Wrestling and only have a vague knowledge of its wrestlers and storylines. Join them as they run down The New Beginning in Osaka and the five US shows and two Sapporo shows building to it, and give their “expert” predictions on who’s going to win. Also, somehow the Idiots are now PW.C’s top NJPW experts. There’s a lot of s–t talking, in case you couldn’t guess.

Heel Alternative is back, and we have so much to catch up on! We drop the motherlode this week with thoughts on the past three episodes of AEW Dynamite and their fancy new TNT deal; Ring of Honor giving Marty Scurll basically the entire company; the myriad screw-ups of Impact Wrestling and their allegedly racist, definitely a bully new World Champion; MLW’s continued existence; Wrestle Kingdom 14 and Capitol Wrestling. It’s all too much!
