You can't get in to heaven on somebody's else's relationship with the Lord. You can be inspired by their relationship, you can be called by their relationship, but you need to respond and have the relationship yourself. . . . You need to have the oil of the Holy Spirit in your soul. You need to have the living presence of God in your soul. And the way we do that is through faith, repentance, sacramental life, prayer.
