12 year old Polly Hannah Klaas was abducted by a stranger from her home in the small community of Petaluma, California.  Richard Allen Davis, a recent parolee, broke into her home on the evening of October 1, 1993 while she had two friends over for a slumber party, bound the girls, and disappeared into the night taking Polly with him.  Her abduction resulted in one of the largest manhunts in California history, including the first time the internet was utilized in the distribution of Polly’s missing persons flyers.  In this episode, I’ll bring you Polly’s story, the story of the search, the investigation, the trial, and how it all unfolded in a community forever changed by Polly’s abduction.
