Elaine tells a story of being with her close friend group when the topic of life insurance came up. One friend mentioned needing bloodwork for a life insurance policy, leading another to casually reveal..."But wait, I sell life insurance for a living!" The rest of the group had no idea!

It's a classic example of making the assumption that our inner circle knows all the details about our work, when in reality, they likely have no clue about the specifics of what we do day-to-day. Elaine's takeaway? Don't neglect to actively network and spread awareness of your business within your tribe.
