Pete Enns is an American biblical scholar and theologian. He has written several books and hosts The Bible for Normal People podcast. 

In this episode, we talk about what led him to reevaluate his understanding of the Bible, why some Christians feel the need to “defend Scripture,” and how viewing the Bible as a rulebook can limit people’s faith.
