Can we understand better what early Christians believed about God and Jesus based on looking at the epistolary introductions within the letters contained within the New Testament? This episode begins a study to look at how these introductory greetings functioned in their wider Hellenistic literary conventions to see what sort of Christology was taught in these early Christian churches.
