Small Groups are NOT the same as disciple-making.
Brian was deep into Small Groups, doing it the way everyone's been doing it for ages, when the Lord suddenly convicted him that he wasn't actually fulfilling the Great Commission with the work he was doing.
He chose the path of humility and allowed the Lord to strip him of all that he thought he knew, and to build him back up.
And the results have been incredible.
Brian's disciple-making went to the 4th and 5th generation and beyond, and he now helps churches make disciples who make disciples...again, getting to that magical 4th generation where growth becomes natural and expected.
This is an exciting episode, and one in which I got a major download about something Brian said related to making both Small Groups AND disciple-making work hand in hand without cannibalizing each other.
