What if serving other people isn't a burden, but the thing that actually sets you free?
In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton talks with Bob Johnson, a man who recently completed the 100xLife Challenge and has spent decades building men's ministry, from the early days of Influencers in Bakersfield to gatherings that now draw over a thousand men into the mountains each year.
Bob shares his story candidly: a ten-year detour chasing baseball and softball around the world, an altar moment in 1989 that changed everything, and decades since spent building men's community rooted in service, honesty, and freedom. He and Rob dig into what actually galvanizes men, not performance or machismo, but the freedom to stop hiding, to be real, and to serve instead of posture.
The conversation moves through some of the most memorable moments of Bob's ministry life: cleaning toilets before ever being handed a microphone, the difference between having to serve and getting to serve, and a simple but piercing insight about Holy Spirit that reframes prayer entirely. Along the way, Bob and Rob connect the dots between freedom, servanthood, and Rob's own recent revelation that everything in creation exists for one purpose: inviting us to choose love, and giving us a place to practice it.
Bob has now become a 100xLife Coach himself, and shares what excites him most about bringing this process to the men in his life, including a group he's launching in January.

What if the thing making your marriage, your prayer life, and your walk with God feel stuck isn't a lack of knowledge, but a lack of wholeness?
In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton sits down with longtime friend and ministry partner Jacob Reeve, founder of The Wholeness Method, for a wide-ranging conversation that moves from the wild early days of planting a house of prayer in downtown Santa Barbara to the science and theology behind what actually makes a marriage thrive.
Jacob shares the story behind the name House of Prayer, a vision he couldn't ignore even when it cost him key partners, and reflects on fasting as a discipline that trains what he calls the anti-sin muscle, the part of the brain that grows every time we tell our body no. From there, the conversation turns to identity, aloneness, and why God's first "not good" in Scripture was about a person having no one else.
The back half of the episode gets practical. Jacob unpacks the four traits of the top 20% of marriages, the eight intimacy blueprints he's studied across more than a thousand couples, and why nervous system regulation, not just communication skills, is often the missing piece in resolving conflict well.
This is a conversation about wholeness in the fullest sense: body, soul, and spirit, aligned and working together, so that love has somewhere real to land.

What if the way you see a stranger in the grocery store says more about the condition of your heart than anything you'd admit out loud?
In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton sits down with Andrew Steier, founder of Always Going, an evangelism ministry built around one simple but radical idea: you don't have to bring a pulpit into everyday life to be a light in it. Andrew calls it overflow evangelism, the practice of loving God so fully that love naturally spills out into ordinary moments, whether that's the grocery store, the mall, or a Sunday morning at church.
Rob and Andrew dig into why so many Christians live like they're avoiding a cosmic kill joy rather than walking in the freedom Jesus actually offers. They talk about calibration, the daily practice of returning to God's truth instead of drifting into old patterns, and why self-denial, done rightly, doesn't cost us anything. It fills us.
This conversation also gets personal. Rob opens up about his own struggle to find joy in church, and Andrew walks him through a reframe that applies far beyond Sunday mornings: church isn't a place to be served. It's a place to practice.
If you've ever caught yourself judging a stranger, feeling drained by community instead of filled by it, or wondering how to actually live out your faith in the mundane moments of an ordinary day, this episode offers a practical, hopeful way forward.

What if the circumstances you're experiencing aren't just happening to you, but are actually being shaped by you?
In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton continues the coaching series with a shift from judgment to the deeper mindset underneath it.
Most of us believe our circumstances are happening to us.
Jesus teaches something different. That our inner state is actually creating our experience of those circumstances.
Rob unpacks a simple but radical statement: everything you're experiencing, you're creating. Walking through Jesus' teaching on faith, doubt, and the eye as "the lamp of the body," Rob shows how our internal alignment of spirit, soul, and body determines whether we live as victims of circumstance or as people who actively shape their experience through love.
Because the goal was never to control what happens to us. It's to notice how our inner world is already shaping how we experience everything that does.
If you've ever felt like a victim of your circumstances, wondered why some people seem more resilient in hard seasons, or struggled to understand what it really means to walk by faith, this episode offers a practical framework for taking ownership of your inner life.

In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton continues the coaching series by exposing what happens before judgment ever takes root.
Most of us think our judgments begin with other people.
Jesus shows us they actually begin with us.
Rob walks through the hidden progression of self-betrayal, self-justification, and self-deception, revealing how every judgment starts the moment we ignore the Spirit's invitation to love.
Using the story of the Good Samaritan, practical everyday examples, and the teachings of Jesus, this coaching session will help you recognize the quiet excuses that keep you from becoming the kind of person Jesus is forming.
Because the greatest threat to love usually isn't hatred. It's the moment we stop noticing the story we're telling ourselves.
If you've ever found yourself frustrated with people, justifying your reactions, or wondering why certain relationships feel stuck, this episode offers a practical framework for recognizing those moments before they become habits.
You'll Hear

• The four ways we justify ignoring love
• How self-justification slowly turns into self-deception

Through practical coaching exercises and guided journaling, Rob walks listeners through a process of learning how to:
This episode challenges listeners to stop seeing judgment as something to suppress and start seeing it as an invitation into transformation.

And if God’s ultimate goal is teaching us to love like Him, then the people frustrating you most might actually be exposing your next opportunity for growth.

In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton takes listeners through a powerful coaching session designed to challenge one of the biggest obstacles to spiritual growth: familiarity.
Too often, we hear truth we’ve heard before and immediately stop engaging. We assume we already know it, stop applying it, and unknowingly stunt the transformation Jesus is inviting us into.
Rob unpacks why this mindset quietly fuels complacency in the church and introduces a better question that can reshape how we approach growth:
What am I capable of?
From marriage and parenting to stewardship, work, mindset development, and our ability to love, this episode challenges believers to stop settling for doing “just enough” and start pursuing the full capacity God designed them for.
Because following Jesus was never meant to be passive agreement.
It was always meant to transform who you become.

In this episode, Rob Dayton sits down with two close friends, fellow Master’s Program graduates, and longtime brothers in the journey of spiritual formation: Chad Erlenborn, a pastor and leadership coach, and Daniel Girdler, a realtor and business leader passionate about intentional living.
Together, they dive deep into one of the most transformational aspects of following Jesus: mindset.
Building on the recent Mindsets of Jesus series, Rob and his guests unpack why true transformation begins not with behavior modification, but with learning how to think differently. They explore how deeply ingrained thought patterns shape our emotions, relationships, faith, and response to suffering, and why renewing the mind may be one of the most important disciplines for anyone serious about spiritual growth.
Daniel shares a powerful analogy from his ACL recovery, comparing mindset transformation to painful physical therapy. Just as scar tissue must be broken apart for healing and freedom, old patterns of thinking often require discomfort before lasting change can happen.
Chad brings practical examples from marriage, forgiveness, and leadership, showing how simple shifts in perspective can radically transform relationships. From learning to “be the dog” in marriage to reframing difficult circumstances through the lens of eternity, the conversation stays deeply practical while remaining rooted in the teachings of Jesus.
The episode closes with a powerful reminder that life is not random chaos. Jesus has given us a framework for transformation. Through intentional mindsets, practiced daily, we learn to think with love, endure suffering with hope, and ultimately live the abundant life He promises.
If you’ve ever wondered how to actually change the way you think and experience deeper transformation as a follower of Jesus, this conversation is packed with practical wisdom worth revisiting.

In this episode, Rob Dayton explores the final mindset of Jesus and one he believes may be among the most important: Eternity is my reality.
Most people live with a limited earthly mindset, measuring life through decades, accomplishments, possessions, and temporary concerns. But Jesus invites us into something far bigger.
Rob unpacks how an eternal mindset reshapes fear, priorities, relationships, and purpose. He challenges the cultural and even church tendency to think only within the boundaries of earthly life and invites listeners to begin living from heaven's reality now.
Drawing from scripture, practical teaching, and research surrounding near-death experiences, Rob explains why eternity is not something that begins after death, but a present reality that transforms how we think and live today.
He also shares personal reflections about obedience, stewardship, and loosening earthly attachments while offering practical ways to retrain the mind toward heaven, love, and eternal purpose.
