Parables: The Evil Servant, The Ten Virgins

Scripture: Matthew 24:42-51, Matthew 25:1-13, Luke 12:41-48

 

Today’s episode brings us to the point in Jesus’ ministry when he was beginning to prepare his disciples for three aspects of the future:

1.     Jesus’ upcoming crucifixion and resurrection, 

2.     How things will be during Christ’s absence from earth

3.     How we should prepare ourselves and hold our hearts before him as we await Jesus’ return. 

 

This is the eighth session of a 12-part series Dallas called “The Parabolic Teaching About Christ’s Kingdom by Christ Himself.” The main parables discussed are The Parable of the Evil Servant and the Parable of the Ten Virgins.
