[3.Moderato] Implying a sense of gratitude for receiving actions
[Vte
“Maybe he/she will (kindly) take me to the moon!?”

First, listen to a sentence at normal speed. Then, I speak a bit slowly, so you start speaking as soon as you hear it (or with a bit of delay if you’re confident), like a shadow.

When Iida-kacho (section chief) went on a business trip, he always buys souvenirs (for us). Also, he is good at computers, so he will fix it immediately when my or our colleague’s computers breaks down. When I have a trouble at work, he kindly gives me advice. Today, I forgot to bring my wallet. Iida-kacho kindly let me 5,000 yen. I thought he might tell me, “you don’t have to give (the money) back.”, but that didn’t happen. Of course… (= what do you expect?) Tomorrow, I will give (the money) back.

Note: English translations might sound occasionally unnatural as English, as I try to preserve the structure and essence of the original Japanese. I hope it also helps you to capture the pattern of the sentence structure.
