In my early 20s, I went through a period of self-inflicted struggles—poor communication, academic underperformance, and several personal challenges. The best leaders strike a balance between high standards and high support, inspiring excellence while providing the necessary guidance. True leadership isn’t about being a drill sergeant or a cheerleader, but about demanding the best while offering empathy and encouragement.
