If you were a beauty professional in 2020, it most likely was a horrible year for your business. I've seen some of my lash friends throw in the towel and just decide to move on...and I don't blame them. In many states and countries around the world, they've deemed us as "not essential" and forced us to close our business (many have opted to work underground....time to open up our "speakeasy" lash salons). While sadly we have had to say good-bye to some wonderful artists this last year, this has also been an exciting time to see lash artists pivot and reinvent themselves. Savannah Carmichael is one of those resilient lash artists who has had to make big changes in her business and in her life in order for her to keep her business afloat here in California. In this episode, Savannah shares her journey of building a lash empire in Southern California and then being confronted by the shutdowns brought on by Covid-19.
