Nashville, as we know, is a music city, but when two music-loving housemates move in together and start to encourage each other and collaborate you end up with 'Monster' a killer track and a fun relationship...

These two collaborators are an inspiration to what can happen when we start to work together and play to each other's strengths. 

Carrie Welling's melodies are rich in folksy, Americana roots, paired with empowering, honest lyrics are stunningly showcased in Welling’s forthcoming, full-length album High Heels and Heavy Things. Created in a home studio in Nashville with purely organic instruments, this raw and vulnerable record was produced by Eric Holljes (Delta Rae) and features songs co-written by the talented likes of Holljes, Mary Bragg, Alex Wong, and Matt Zavala.

The walls of Alex Wong’s intimate recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee are coated in chalkboard paint. Though they are wiped clean at the moment, they will soon be filled with a jumble of words and ideas that gradually forms the map of a new creative journey. A multi-talented artist, songwriter, instrumentalist, producer, and sometimes chef, Wong has an innate inquisitiveness and introspection that lend him a unique ability to thread a story through seemingly disparate creative expressions and experiences. He patiently peels back the layers of each and charts his way to a common core.
