Those with a flexible view of themselves and their environment are far happier and higher performing. The problem is, most people have a serious misunderstanding of what adaptability really is. Instead of seeking to give up control, they look to gain even more control, and to become better “multitaskers.” The secret to adaptability isn’t multitasking, and it isn’t doing more. Adaptability is about doing less, better.
