In the U. S., today is Memorial Day, a day for remembering those who have given their lives on behalf of their country. I have distinct memories of, as a child, visiting a cemetery on this day and listening to the sound of taps being played, the bugle in the distance and the notes weaving among the hills, the trees, and the gravestones. It’s a solemn memory, and I’m grateful.

I hope your day is restful, and full of good, even if difficult, memories.

The subject of this episode is power. I want us to consider the power we all have and the risks associated with that power. But moreso, I want us to consider the power we should covet.
