"Our daughter was a beautiful young woman, inside and out," Killgore's mother told reporters after the verdict.."And unfortunately, she ran across people that were not good ... were monsters, and took her life. She is going to be missed for the rest of our lives."

In 2010, At 20 years old, Brittany married Cory Kilgore who was enlisted in the Marine Corps and settled into Fallbrook, California.  After two years of marriage to Lance Corporal Cory Killgore, 22-year-old Brittany, filed for divorce. She decided that she'd move back with her parents in Missouri and had already packed up all of her belongings.  She, however, would never make it back to Missouri....oh, and Corey had nothing to do with it! (We know that's what you were thinking) ;)
