Bass Reeves was one of the Frontiers greatest heroes, a skilled tracker, a sharpshooter and a formerly enslaved man who became one of the first African American U.S. Marshalls. A master of disguise, he hunted outlaws and brought them to justice, and he even went on to inspire the tale of The Lone Ranger.
