145: Self-care through at home luxury with Charmaine Blackburne from Cocoon Luxury Australia
For as long as she can remember, Charmaine has had a deep appreciation and love for luxury aesthetics, cosmetics, holistic health and wellness.
As a former classical ballet dancer, cosmetologist, fashion model and later turned businesswoman, Charmaine always had a persistent inner desire to create something truly special.
In 2017, Charmaine noticed a gap in the market - wondering "why people were only focusing on their face and neglecting their body?" From here the clear vision of Cocoon Luxury was born, one of which has taken Charmaine 2 years to bring to life, officially launching in December 2019, right before the world was about to hit the global pandemic.
Building a product range including anti-ageing polishes & balms, fragrant diffusers and even a Gua Sha board, Charmaine talks about Cocoon Luxury’s mission and what motivated her to fill the natural, yet luxury, gap in the market and of course shares with us why body care and self-care go hand in hand.
