Hello, everyone. How are you doing? I had to wake up early this morning, but I
overslept. I panicked! Do you always set your alarm clock? Have you ever overslept?

Today, we will practice "〜te shimaimashita" in plain style. First, make a sentence with "〜chatta" as follows.
I overslept. (Nebou shite shimaimashita.)
→ I overslept. (Nebou shichatta)

"〜de shimaimashita" will be changed to "jatta".

2. I read it.
3. I ordered it.
4. I took a rest / I took a day off (from work).
5. I stepped on it.

Do you know "Neko, funjatta"? Neko, funjatta(I stepped on the cat)" is a piano melody known as Flohwalzer or Flea Waltz with Japanese lyrics.
There are many variations around the world.
