What are your thoughts on booth rental?For many employees renting a booth or room is the dream. You're tired of being paid commission or hourly and renting a room from a salon owner means you get to be your own boss. I know many of you listening to this podcast hope to one day have your own space and most likely you'll start renting a room from someone else. Booth rental for employers can be a nightmare...if you run a team-based salon (commission, hourly, team-base pay) then you probably hate booth rentals and feel like they are your biggest enemy (along with salon suites). So for one group the words "booth rental" brings joy and for another group it brings dread.With that said, we sit down with Christine Petrun of Eyelandlash and talk about what it's been like since her salon switched to booth rental.
