The distant past. The year 1058 (or the first century, apparently, way to go Jeff). A mysterious vessel from the stars crashes in Dark Ages England. Its incredible contents fall into the hands of a primitive nomadic tribe. Their actions set off a chain reaction of events that ends in the complete obliteration of the planet Earth. That is, unless THE DOCTOR can stop it! But can he overcome his grief at the loss of his companions to save the planet?
