It’s the start of earnings season again, so Steve D and Steve W are here to talk about it. On our show today, we’ve got two UK stocks and four US financials.
First up, it’s DS Smith – the FTSE 100’s premier box-making organisation. With a P/E of 8 and a dividend yield above 7, is this a boring box maker, or a cutting-edge packaging outfit?
Next, it’s Spirax-Sarco. The conglomerate has some impressive credentials for an industrials stock, but is there enough growth still there to support the big price tag?
And we’re finishing off with a look at some of the earnings from the US banks. JP Morgan’s shareholders will be pleased, but what about Wells Fargo, Citigroup, and Blackrock?
