I once referred to the negative people in my life as toxic. I would say that a person is toxic or that relationship is toxic. Guess what? There is no such thing as toxic people.  We make the choice who we surround ourselves with. We also make the choice of how we want to react.  Other people do not control us. When you learn to control your thoughts you will learn that you can be around anyone and it does not affect you.
