Quomodo Digitur was a Latin podcast and the first to show that such a thing as a regular podcast was possible in an ancient language, using original dialogue rather than just reciting an ancient text. This podcast has always been the model for what we are trying to do, the same idea, but in Greek. If you are into Latin, their whole podcast series is available here:

The other podcast that has been most influential is Alexander Veronensis' Barbarismoi, as far as I know, the first podcast in Ancient Greek. His series has now been deleted, but is still available on youtube here:
