RTÉ News and Current Affairs The Minister for Integration Roderic O'Gorman has asked Government Departments to make any buildings of theirs that are idle available without delay for possible accommodation for refugees from abroad.

In a letter he wrote to other Government Ministers, Roderic O'Gorman pointed out that buildings in any part of the country would cause.

Large and spacious halls, where there would be a place for the likes of bunk beds, are needed, he said.
