"Boost in the economy next, too boom b
"Borradh sa gheilleagar chugainn, róbhorradh b'fhéidir".
There will be more growth in the economy this year than expected, but one must be careful because there could be too much growth, according to the latest quarterly bulletin from the Economic and Social Research Institute.
Beidh borradh níos mó sa gheilleagar i mbliana ná mar a bhí súil leis, ach ní mór a bheith aireach mar d'fhéadfadh róbhorradh a bheith ann, de réir an fheasacháin ráithiúil is deireanaí ón Institiúid Taighde Eacnamaíochta agus Sóisialta.
The bulletin claims that the economy is likely to grow by 3.8% this year and that the inflation rate will drop to 4.5%.
Maítear san fheasachán gur cosúil go dtiocfaidh fás 3.8 faoin gcéad ar an ngeilleagar i mbliana agus go n-ísleoidh an ráta boilscithe go 4.5 faoin gcéad .
There is concern, however, that a very high level of employment could put pressure on the economy and ultimately lead to overgrowth.
Léirítear imní ann, áfach, go bhféadfadh leibhéal an-ard fostaíochta brú a chur ar an ngeilleagar agus gur róbhorradh a bheas ann i ndeireadh na dála.
That, it is said, would put obstacles in the way of major infrastructure projects and house building in particular.
Chuirfeadh sin, a deirtear, constaicí sa bhealach ar thograí móra bonneagair agus ar thógáil tithe go háirithe.
Apparently, the computer services sector is not up and down but rather up and down together.
De réir dealraimh, ní hé go bhfuil an earnáil seirbhísí ríomhaireachta thuas seal thíos seal ach is amhlaidh atá sé thuas thíos in éineacht.
Despite a significant number of workers being let go from certain sections of that sector, almost the same number of workers are being recruited in other sections all the time, according to the research institute.
Ainneoin líon suntasach oibrithe a bheith á ligean chun siúil ó rannóga áirithe den earnáil sin, tá an líon céanna oibrithe nach mór á earcú i rannóga eile an t-am ar fad, dar leis an institiúid taighde.
Employment in the pharmaceutical sector is also growing, it is said.
Tá fostaíocht san earnáil cógaisíochta ag fás freisin, a deirtear.
Only in the accommodation and food services sectors is the level of employment decreasing.
Is sna hearnálacha seirbhísí lóistín agus bia amháin atá an leibhéal fostaíochta ag ísliú.
In that regard, the bulletin suggests that the rate of consumer price inflation may have already fallen to a staggering 4%.
Ina cheann sin, tugtar le fios san fheasachán go mb'fhéidir go bhfuil an ráta boilscithe ó thaobh praghsanna tomhaltóirí de tite cheana féin go dtí corradh agus 4 faoin gcéad .
That's not the same as the headline inflation rate which is still hovering at 8%.
Ní hionann sin agus an ráta boilscithe príomha atá fós ag bordáil ar 8 faoin gcéad .
That trend, however, cannot be relied upon, as even though energy prices will drop, food prices may rise further if there is an overgrowth in the economy.
Ní féidir brath ar an treocht sin, áfach, arae cé go n-ísleoidh praghsanna fuinnimh is féidir go n-ardóidh praghsanna bia tuilleadh má bhíonn róbhorradh sa gheilleagar.
On top of all that, the general challenges are a list as long as the spring quarter - between the over-reliance on corporate tax from information and communication technology companies; the severe financial policies that are foreseen; and the international unrest.
Ar a mhuin sin ar fad, liosta chomh fada le ráithe an earraigh atá sna dúshláin ghinearálta – idir an róspleáchas ar cháin chorparáideach ó chomhlachtaí teicneolaíochta faisnéise agus cumarsáide; na dianbheartais airgeadais atá tuartha; agus an chorraíl idirnáisiúnta.
