The President of the United States Joe Biden is in Cuaille, Co Louth, this evening, where he visited Carlin Castle - a Norman fort at the foot of Sliabh Feá - in the company of Tánaiste Micheál Martin.

The President's great-grandfather was from Co Louth and this is his third visit to the county since 2016.

As the President's motorcade made its way through the town of Carlin, hundreds of people along the road welcomed the arrival of one of their own.
