Alert given to the Government about accommodation for refugees.

The human rights organization Council of Europe has drawn attention to the lack of accommodation in this country for asylum seekers from abroad.

The Commissioner of the Council of Europe Dunja Mijatovic has said that the situation as it is in Ireland at the moment may be in violation of the European Convention on Human Rights.
