2023 flew by. Today I was sitting here and kind of sad that I was sort of ‘still in the same place’ even though that is ENTIRELY not true. Isn’t it so dumb that we quickly lose sight of ALL that God has done because it isn’t exactly what we thought it should be? So a couple of things to encourage you on today..

1. Celebrate you- take a moment to look back and write down at least 3 things that you accomplished and feel good about. A win! Doesn’t have to be huge…but we tend to for get the good things and only dwell on the things we did wrong. SO you need to go back and celebrate the wins of 2023. EVEN IF this was hard year…I KNOW there will be wins in there somewhere. So write them down, ask Holy Spirit to lead you in remembering and celebrate you!

Some celebrations for me is this- my family got through this year without any major injury(big deal with busy man children!) or health problems. The podcast reached some milestones that I NEVER thought would happen…all thanks to you for listening!! Seriously…it’s a privilege to be part of your week so thank you for letting me speak into your life! We got to travel to the Dominican Republic and have an amazing experience there that stretched and grew us!! I had some fabulsou experiences leading worship and speaking which grew me as well! LOTS of growth this year! Haha And also it brought some new amazing people into my life! Absolute bonus!! And as i’m writing all I’m geting pumped for what God has in store for 2024!!!(and this was all off the top of my head…there is WAY more i’m sure I could celebrate!)  I hope that when you begin look back and see all the things God has done, you will be ready to give God more and be excited for all the possibilities in 2024!! 

That brings me to my next thing for you- 

1. Set some goals for 2024. What do you want this next year to look like? Do you want to read the bible more, spend more time with your kiddos, stop a bad habit, go on a special vacation, learn and grow in yoru faith walk, lose some weight, write a book, start a business, become financial free…what is it? Write down some dreams you have for 2024. Then set attainable goals with dates to go along with them. No more just wishing and hoping they will happen! Let’s do it!

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Isaiah 43:18-19 - “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Revelation 21:5 - And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
