A lotta witches are miserable, unhappy, and ungrounded - they do magic for the wrong reasons, such as emotional instability, pettiness, anger, jealousy, or something else. Magic can absolutely be worked with to help us heal from trauma (as I talk about in my second graphic novel Bodymagic), however it seems that many people in witchcraft land aren't using magic to heal, but rather to further entrench themselves in their own negative habits, mindsets, and unhealthy ways of thinking. Our magic is limited by our own state of mind. In this episode, I discuss the state of witchy community, and how I think we can all work with magic in better, healthier ways.
