Barty told the coterie that, according to Camarilla law, Val should be executed for her attack on the sheriff, but he’d allow them to hold a trial first. However, when they tried to convince Barty that all of this was unnecessary, he had to call upon Alabaster Kane to step in as prosecution. With Doris and Evangeline as the defense, Everett set the rules of the trial to try to improve their odds of winning, but is there any hope now that the Prince is involved?
